Ormos

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 1, 2026

Ormos is a personal cash-flow forecasting app for iPhone and iPad, made by an independent developer ("I", "me"). In short: Ormos has no account and no server, and I do not collect your data. Your budget and balances stay on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Ormos does not ask you to sign up or log in, and it contains no analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting tools. I never receive the income, expenses, balances, dates, or notes you enter, and I can't see them.

Ormos doesn't ask for access to your camera, photos, contacts, location, microphone, or any other protected part of your device.

Where your data lives

Everything you enter is saved only on your device, inside the app's own private storage. Your settings, such as your light/dark theme choice and whether you've finished the welcome screens, are stored there too.

Backups

Ormos has a manual Back up my data option in Settings. It shows your data as a text "backup code" that you can copy to your device's clipboard. To restore, you paste a code back into the app.

Third parties

Ormos doesn't sell, rent, or share your data, and it doesn't send your financial information to anyone. The app makes no network connections at all: its fonts and everything else are built in.

Apple: Apple handles purchasing, downloads, and updates through the App Store, under Apple's own privacy policy. Ormos is a one-time purchase and has no in-app purchases.

Children

Ormos isn't directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included, because Ormos collects none at all.

Changes to this policy

If how Ormos handles information changes, I'll update this page and change the effective date above. If a change means Ormos starts collecting or sending any of your data, I'll say so clearly in the app before it happens.
